MY GYM!
Well, yes - I can now vouch for the expense. This program is well worth the 'tuition'...
We had originally taken Mo last Friday and Saturday for an open house, where she was able to run around and experience the 'free play' time alotted, mixing in with a variety of ages. She had a blast, Chaz and I both agreeing this was something we needed to do for her. She'll get to run around (excerise) and mingle with the other kids (socialize).
The classes started this past Monday, and when we showed up at 9:15, Mo was inhibited...not really in to the structured activities and not wanting to participate. I feared she was not ready or interested after all, but the staff was fantastic and encouraged her without being heavy-handed. They asked us to come back for another free-play period, which we did. These pictures are of that experience, which was this afternoon.
Mo has a crush on one of the intructors (ALREADY!) and was distraught (yes, really bummed) when he wasn't there as we arrived. "Tommy!? Where Tommy!? Where he go?" Heh...She did not appreciate him not being there. She had REMEMBERED the names of both fellows that were there Monday (the owner; Chris, being the other). Hmmn. Well, fortunately, young Tommy showed up for his shift (or back from lunch, one) shortly thereafter and she kept her eyes on him the whole time. A shaggy-haired 'kid' of undetermined age (twenty-something), he appeals to the children. They all seem to groove on him, and he interacts well with them. I think that's him in the black T-shirt with his back facing us in the second pic...
My daughter has a crush. Oh my word.
Now, the other thing that I witnessed happening while we were there was the forming of yet another clique...ugh. There were several soccer-moms-in-training, sitting down in a tight circle (but ignoring their kids - GRRR). They were working stead-fastly on organizing a playgroup, but judging by the way they shunned the two non-conforming mothers (besides myself) I decided I wanted no part of it should I be approached. Not that they approached me, or thought to, nose-ring and all...;)
So, there were three of us watching our children and then 'them'...so we three outcasts made nice and had a great time!

Looks like a great time! None of "those" moms talk to me either. I always thought hanging out with moms would be much different than hanging out with high school or college girls-but it isn't. Some people never change I guess.
Oh Trish those are great pics. She is having a blast. I wish you lived near us. You seem like such an interesting person to know. You are very literate and fun and heck maybe I need a nose ring too and would like to get ideas!

Wow, she's getting big! She really looks like her own person. Good parenting, I think. You guys must be very proud.
The gym looks like fun. Lots of colorful things to climb in, on & under - what more could you ask for? Mo seems to be enjoying it. She is so darn cute!
BTW, I'm never invited into cliques & I don't have a nose ring; but, I think they can sense that I'm not interested in being "in".
