The Electric Company and dastardly cowlicks.
OK, now I have time to revisit this and explain what's going on in the images...well, for that which requires an explanation. Since I've gotten several comments (elsewhere) about the last picture, I'll verify that yes, indeed, my daughter was both in need of sleep (even though she would still deny it) and not at all in the mood for Mama to be taking her picture. With that cold stare, she should have little problem visually icing the cheerleaders come time for high school. ;)
Mo's in the "no kiss" stage...unless she wants to come lay one on us.
OK...for my birthday last month (39th, thank you), my husband presented me with the THE ELECTRIC COMPANY DVD, and not only am I thrilled with the flashback, but Mo seems to dig it here and there, whenever something happens to catch her eye.
She still wants her daily shower, but now enjoys a proper bath before bed...this used to wind her up and so was retired, but now, finally, she seems to calm after ample splish-splashing.
Morgan was surprised to see a familiar face on this ancient program...boy, did he look and sound different back in '74...
Yes, she is repeating the words on the screen...she does that anytime she hears something interesting. :)
You are getting sleeeeeeepy, very sleeeeeeeeeepy...
'Turtle'- that's her name, BTW, is Morgan's absolute favorite 'friend' and goes EVERYWHERE with us...the bathroom, the mail box, in the stroller...'Mimi'; the screaming monkey puppet and 'Monkey'; eh, the monkey are second and third. I think Mickey Mouse is currently 4th.
This is the shot that rang around the world...yes, it is some what frightening to see that much 'maturity' in a two year old face, but truthfully, that 'wisdom' has always shown itself. She used to give me this look in the beginning, when we still had troubles with physical rebellion at night...she'd look at me and I'd swear it was a 200 year old man, or worse, a long-dead and delinquent, smart-ass ex-boyfriend from my teenage years...just this all-too-knowing look from a salty dog stuck in an infantile form. Freaky.

What a happy beautiful little girl she is!
Yoli
Cheerleaders? She'll probably give a boyfriend a run for his money...
Morgan is delightful, as is your site, especially for those of us in the "holding pattern"
